FAQ

  • Do I need prior training or certification?

Our 1 day indoor cycling instructor course requires that you are a qualified gym instructor, personal trainer or exercise to music. It doesn't need to be recent, but you will need to submit your certificate to us before you attend the course. Our online and 2 day indoor cycling instructor courses are both designed for those without these qualifications - these are suitable for you if you want to specialise in indoor cycling.

  • How should I prepare?

When you sign up you will receive access immediately to your precourse learning. This is all self-paced and online, and you will need to ensure you complete this in order ot attend your course. You can also choose to attend other indoor cycling sessions too, although this is not mandatory.

  • What is the Sprint price?

We offer a 'Sprint' discounted price for those booking early. There are a limited number of spots on each course at this price, so once they're gone, they're gone. Courses with the Sprint price available are listed on our main page with the green 'Sprint' text next to the course date.

  • Will I receive a certification upon completion?

Yes. All successful graduates of the course will receive a pdf certificate emailed to them. If you want a printed certificate to be posted out to you in addition, you can select this option at checkout.

  • Is the certification internationally recognised?

Yes! Our accreditations are recognised globally, and we have instructors all over the world changing lives with great indoor cycling sessions.

  • What should I bring to the course?

Complete your precourse learning first of all. And then on the day, arrive in your kit, bring water, your lunch, and fresh legs!

  • Is there ongoing support or continuing education available?

Of course! Our aim is to develop great indoor cycling instructors - but they'll need to stay good! We have CPD courses to improve on your practice, and you can also join us as a member which gives you discounted courses, and entry on our professional register, where you can submit different types of CPD to provide evidence that you're keeping your knowledge and skills up to date.

  • Is there an upper age limit?

No! Age is a benefit here, as in many things. More life experience and skills will enable you to relate to more riders, potentially widening your appeal. Gyms are appealing to a wider range of ages, and indoor cycling instructors can easily tap into that.

  • What if I need extra help?

Each student gets their own personal tutor. You can contact your personal tutor at any point. Our courses are run with small groups so it's easier to learn, and in a more relaxed environment. We want you to have a fantastic experience with us, so please do let us know if you have any specific learning needs, or if there may be something else we need to know about to help you get the best from the course.
