Indoor Cycling Institute

Our online indoor cycling instructor course is designed for those without previous fitness industry qualifications such as gym instructor, personal trainer or exercise ot music. This course is suitable for you if you want to specialise in indoor cycling.

When you sign up you will immediately receive access to your course materials. This is all self-paced and takes about 10-15 hours to complete - but you've got 6 months to do it, so you can take the pace easy if you choose to. You will recieve an email from us confirming that you're registered on the course, and asking you for your address so that we can send you your free handbook.

Yes. All successful graduates of the course will receive a pdf certificate emailed to them. If you want a printed certificate to be posted out to you in addition, you can select this option at checkout.

Yes! Our accreditations are recognised globally, and we have instructors all over the world changing lives with great indoor cycling sessions.

Our fastest student completed and received his certificate in 5 days. If you let us know that you're keen to move fast, we will do everything we can to get you there. However, the quickest way to do anything is to get it right first time - and we encourage you to take the notes you need, to revise carefully and check that you understand things before moving on to the next part. If you have a thorough understanding you will have no problem with the assessment; those who prepare thoroughly tend to find passing the course easy. You'll do a theory test, design a session plan and deliver your session to video for your assessment. As long as you put the work in, we will do our part by returning feedback and certifiying quickly. We aim for two working days for certificates and marking, but usually it is quicker than this.

Of course! Our aim is to develop great indoor cycling instructors - but they'll need to stay good! We have CPD courses to improve on your practice, and you can also join us as a member which gives you discounted courses, and entry on our professional register, where you can submit different types of CPD to provide evidence that you're keeping your knowledge and skills up to date.

No! Age is a benefit here, as in many things. More life experience and skills will enable you to relate to more riders, potentially widening your appeal. Gyms are appealing to a wider range of ages, and indoor cycling instructors can easily tap into that.

Each student gets their own personal tutor. You can contact your personal tutor at any point. Our courses are run with small groups so it's easier to learn, and in a more relaxed environment. We want you to have a fantastic experience with us, so please do let us know if you have any specific learning needs, or if there may be something else we need to know about to help you get the best from the course.
